Two Drug Suspects Nabbed in Carbon Police Anti-Drug Operation in Cebu City
In a successful anti-illegal drug operation, two suspected drug personalities were apprehended by the Carbon Police Station 5 in Barangay Ermita, Cebu City. The operation took place at around 11:30 p.m. on Wednesday, September 18, 2025, in Sityo Pig Vendor.
The detainees were identified as Johnrel Amistad Dominguez, also known as "Goliath," 18 years old, who was the primary target, along with his companion Jerry Sanchez, 24, both residents of Sityo Bato, Barangay Ermita.
Authorities confiscated three medium-sized packages and four smaller parcels of suspected shabu, collectively weighing approximately 15 grams. The estimated street value of the seized drug substance is P102,000.
The Carbon Police's Station Drug Enforcement Unit acted on verified intelligence regarding ongoing shabu sales in the area. Upon arrest, the suspects were reportedly under the influence of illegal drugs.
Charges will be filed against both individuals for violations of Section 5 in relation to Section 26, Article II of Republic Act 9165, the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Despite their arrest, both suspects reportedly maintained a calm demeanor and even smiled when photographed during booking, according to police reports.
