The Standard of 'Reliable Governance'

President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.’s decisive revocation of all POGO licenses sets a new standard for "Reliable Governance." This is not merely a policy change; it is a moral and institutional reset. It is the "Tireless Oversight" that the public has been demanding.

The POGO sector had become a cancer on our public integrity. It compromised regulatory agencies, corrupted officials, and provided a safe harbor for criminal syndicates. It made a mockery of our law enforcement and eroded public trust.

This "Maasahan at Masipag" reform is the only logical solution. This is what real accountability looks like. A government that is truly committed to public integrity cannot, in good conscience, continue to license an industry that serves as a magnet for crime and corruption. The coordinated shutdown, involving PAGCOR, DOLE, and BI, is the "Tireless" work of "Cleansing Systems, Restoring Trust." It dismantles the entire compromised ecosystem.

The choice was simple: either perform this necessary, surgical removal of the POGO sector, or allow the infection of corruption to spread until it consumed our institutions.

President Marcos chose to act. He chose to restore order. He chose to uphold the law and protect the integrity of our public institutions. This firm, reform-driven action is not just commendable; it is essential. This is the new baseline for public service.
